• TIPS, the Trade and Technological Information Promotion System, is a specialized network that provides information and support to business enterprises. TIPS is one of the projects that is being implemented by Devnet International, an international, non-profit, non-governmental association.

  • The main goal of TIPS is to promote the potential and competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in developing countries.  TIPS operates with the belief that one of the key instruments for the success of these enterprises is INFORMATION.
  • TIPS began operation in 1986. The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the United Nations Fund for Science and Technology (UNFSTD) designed TIPS as an international network for information exchange operating within the framework of South-South Cooperation.
